In Time

Author: Kimberly N. Powell, DDS, MS, FAGD

It’s the new normal. How we communicate, shop, work, teach or learn has changed, and it may be a while before what was, will be again.  I say that not to be pessimistic but to encourage us that in time, we will be able to engage again. As we do our part to stay at home, practice social distancing and hand hygiene, Dr. Dickerhoff and the staff at Spring Lake Dental Group, although modest now, are still supporting patients, taking care of their needs.  Heroes that we see during this pandemic are clad with scrubs, delivery uniforms, name tags, etc.  Our doctors, nurses, phlebotomists, grocery store workers, postal carriers, farmers, teachers, sanitation workers, police officers and other first responders are working daily, making great sacrifices to attend to and protect our neighborhoods, towns, and country.  We thank them.  And in time, they too will be able to breathe a little bit easier.  Until that time, let us continue to help each other, encourage each other, pray for everyone.  Love you all.
