Q & A with Roseann Maffia
We recently celebrated the semi-retirement of our dear Roseann Maffia! As a full-time team member, Roseann served as the Collections Manager over the years and played such an important role in the success of our practice. She she was very candid to talk about her career and plans for the future as I interviewed her.
Q: How long have you been in your profession at Spring Lake Dental Group?
A: I have worked at SLDG for 19 years.
Q:Â What did you like the most about your profession?
A: As a Collections Manager, I was able to assist patients in many ways: helping them understand their insurance plans and limitations; explaining complicated and lengthy treatment plans that would often span over a period of months or even years; and working with patients to get the treatment they needed while making it work with their finances.
Q:Â What are three of your dearest memories from your time working as a full time team member at Spring Lake Dental Group?
A: The people I work with and for, the satisfaction of the job and the generosity of the owner.
Q:Â What is the secret for a long and successful career such as yours?
A: I always felt that I was part of the family at Spring Lake Dental Group so I worked hard each day as if it was my own practice.
Q:Â We are very lucky to still have you work on Tuesdays and Wednesdays each week. What are your plans for semi-retirement?
A: I plan to get my personal affairs in order and on my to-do list are multiple projects around the home, visiting family and of course to be here on Tuesdays and Wednesdays!
Spring Lake Dental Group is extremely thankful for all your continuous hard work, dedication and enthusiasm!
