Rima Solanki, DMD
Dr. Solanki was born and raised in India. She moved to the U.S. in 2007 at the age of 17. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology and minor in Chemistry from Rutgers University in New Jersey. While at Rutgers, her interest peaked in the realm of medicine. She quickly became interested in dentistry after shadowing several local dentists in the area.
Following her undergraduate education, Dr. Solanki continued her desire to pursue a career as a dentist by attending the Medical University of South Carolina where she received her degree as Doctor of Dental Medicine. In dental school, she was awarded an outstanding achievement in Operative Dentistry and an outstanding achievement in Fixed Prosthodontics. It was during her four years in Charleston, SC that she fell in love with the southeast part of the U.S. She decided to further enhance her skills by completing a one year General Practice Residency program at Monmouth Medical Center near her hometown in Manalapan, NJ. During her training, Dr. Solanki received advanced training in esthetic dentistry, implant placement, oral sedation, oral surgery and pediatric dentistry.
Dentistry has become a passion for Dr. Solanki and she continues to stay on the forefront of technology by constantly immersing herself in continuing educational courses. She has gone on mission trips to Jamaica to help provide dental care to children and adults in need. She enjoys treating patients of all age groups and is a firm believer of the Golden Rule: do unto others as you would have done to you. She is a member of American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Association of Women Dentists and the North Carolina Dental Society.
Dr. Solanki strives to form lasting relationships with her patients while providing them with the highest quality of care. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband. She also enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time on the beach during her free time.
