For over twenty-five years, Dr. Dickerhoff has been serving soldiers, family members and retirees within the Ft. Bragg/Spring Lake community. His commitment began with his own service to the military for fourteen years before he left military service to private practice. Three years of residency training within the military accompanied his service in Desert Shield/Desert Storm for which he was awarded the Bronze Star. He also has Master Parachutist’s Wings and the Expert Field Medical Badge. He mentors his staff with a commitment to lifelong learning and giving back for all the many blessings that have come his way. This commitment is exemplified by voluntary work at the Cumberland County Care Clinic, NC Missions of Mercy, Rebuilding America’s Warriors, Seattle Study Club, Spring Lake Appearance Commission and being a board member of Southern Region Area Health Education Center. He has the designation of Master and member emeritus within the Academy of General Dentistry and is a Fellow within the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He is a trustee at his Spring Lake church and on a national examinations board with the Academy of General Dentistry.  With two sons in college and a beautiful wife, Janice, he hopes to be able to lead his team for many years to come, which means he may have to update his web photo to show all the gray hair.
